Images taken with 2000FC/M + 150mm C + 250mm C + TMax 400

So there was a huge power failure in the whole of Gibraltar so I thought I'd load up a roll of T-Max 400 and go up to take some shots of the Gibraltar Barbary Macaques. If you don't know the Rock of Gibraltar is famous for them and they run wild in the upper rock area.
I used a 2000 FC/M with the 150mm and 250mm C lenses (both silver) and T-Max as i said rated at 400asa cos it was a very dull flat day.....hope you like them....
I'm gonna enter them in the 'wildlife' section of the Hasselblad Masters thingie they have online....might as well....you never know....theyr'e not exactly a full colour, punchy 500mm f2.8 35mm digital with camouflage and bunker moment but i think, by shooting them as I did we have an aletrnative.....

Very nice shots Sperea. I really like the last one where you captured the pensive moment. Should be a winner.

Really great shots with only the macaques makes them very clean very artistic to me. How close were you when you made the shots?

Cheers,

THANKS BROTHER!
Well I had your ex-2000 FC/M and the 150mm and 250mm and I was standing, crouching, sitting, lying as close as the minimum focus in either lens....they're mostly used to tourists but some of them can get agressive and they go "ooh ooh" making an o with their mouth and they start going for you.....they are, after all, wild animals.....never shot animals before really so I'm going for the 'Gorillas in the mist' vibe.....heh heh heh

Shot another two rolls today.....I hope they come out well....I'll develop them later.

Anecdote....thought I had 4 great shots till I looked at the A12 and realised I hadn't wound the film to frame 1 yet! DOH.....so had to start all over again....

Really great shots with only the macaques makes them very clean very artistic to me. How close were you when you made the shots?

Cheers,

Ronald
