503CWD Battery?

Hi

I've just acquired a demo 503cwd in mint condition. The only thing missing was the battery. I am having difficulty finding the dedicated Sony Infolithium L-Type-NP-F550 and was wondering if any users were using 3rd party batteries for this outfit and if so what?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just in case anyone ever read this thread and wanted to know the answer themselves I managed to source a compatable battery from Duracell [DR5].

Works a treat and now able to use the camera.

Sony no longer makes the 550. You need a NP-570 now. Used in alot of their camcorders. Its quite readily available. 40-80 dollars.

As I got my CFV second hand I received "Energizer ER-C520" Batteries with it. Works fine.

I had 2 old Sony NP-F570 that allows to make only 2 shots before to dy.
