What is the N for if an ad lists a magazine as A24N instead of A24? Is there a difference?

"N" designation is often used to indicate it concerns the improved version of the automatic film back.
A different pressure plate, two brakes for take up and supply spool were introduced to improve the film plane.
These improvements were fitted from 1985 onwards.
The "N" is not a factory addition.
