I've just pulled the trigger on what I hope will be my last Hasselblad lens purchase, a mint late 1995 Carl Zeiss 180mm f4 CF Sonnar.

This will give me the following range 40mm, 50mm, 80mm, 150mm 180mm & 250mm. So unless one fails completely or gets damaged beyond repair I suspect that this will be the end of my improving my Lens collection (apart from the fact I am completely skint now).

The 180/4.0 is an exceptional lens offering exceptional IQ.


To repeat the opinion of a well known user of this forum:

"Use the 180 for portraits and you will have serious problems with all females over the age of 12."
