Beginner Question - Distagon C Lens not compatible 500CM?

Hello people,

sorry if I perhaps ask a stupid question here but I'm new to Hasselblad and need some help with this one.

I've two bodies 500 EL and 500 CM and two lenses (Distagon C 60mm f/3.5 T* and S-Planar f/5.6 120mm).

It looks like the Distagon and Planar lenses are working correctly with the 500 EL body (shutter is closing correctly). When I mount the Distagon lens on the 500 CM body the shutter is only closing once after releasing.

I assumed that both lenses are compatible with both bodies but it looks like the Distagon woks only in the 500 EL body.

Please let me know if pictures/SN would help.

A C60 lens should work without any issues on the 500CM

If the Distagon doesn't work on your 500CM then something is out of adjustment. Sounds like a lens or body needs service.

Thanks for your reply, will run a "test" with the 500 EL on the weekend. Luckily I have 12 months warranty on the body.
