cf 105mm?

I was looking through my 503CW handbook and in the system information it shows all the compatible lenses. I noticed and did a double-take when I saw a CF105mm listed. I've done searches and have found nothing. Is there such a thing?

Oh yes.. there is such a thing. It is the UV-Sonnar 105mm/f4.3. This is a specialist lens with quartz and fluorite elements to allow UV radiation to pass to the film.

It will cost you an arm and both legs to acquire, these puppies are very costly.

Price when new was 6500 till 11.000 euro depending on C or CF lens and date of purchase.
A good used one will set you back between 5000 and 10.000 euro......
This is for the brave at heart with a cheque book and a good writing hand.....

That lens should be sharp, fluorite elements usually mean apochromatic.

Keep an eye on the classified section more often.
There were two 105 Sonnars offered for sale some time ago.
