Cheap alternate cable release?

I've got an original Hasselblad twin release you can have. Works equally well if you are just using the one side.

Drop me a PM with your address and I'll bung it in a jiffy bag for you.

Hi S

I haven't used that particular release but I find the cheap eBay releases just as unreliable as the expensive Hasselblad option.

Why pay serious money for an unreliable release when you can buy cheap unreliable releases?

Thanks Keith - wise words!

Ed has kindly offered to help out.

Cheers, S.

PS Let me know when you want to sell your HC 28mm, because you really need to buy a D800......

The problem is every time I pick up a Nikon/Canon DSLR all I want to do is put it down again!

I love my lowly H3D11-22!

I'm with you Keith. I'm very happy with what I have. I love the colour rendering of the Hasselblads, and the simplicity of using it. I have a Fuji X100 which drives me mad - great IQ but what a stuff around with all its menus and gotchas.

Hi Jeff
I have a Fuji X100 as well.
Seems 2 teams designed the camera - one worked on the optics and sensor, and a bunch of typists designed the interface.
A very frustrating camera - but superb quality images - the closets I can get to a HB.
I have learnt to accept it as it is - hopefully they will do a better job on the new Xpan!

I wouldn't count on it. From the little that I have seen of the new X Pro 1. The firmware and OVF/EVF and autofocus aren't much improved on the X100. I will try one soon and hope to be proven wrong.
