Does anyone have a photo of a V-2229 or V-2223 tool?

I'm trying to identify some various pieces of Hasselblad test and repair tools I have recently acquired. I think one I have is the V-2229 Control Tool for measuring the distance and symmetry between the film plane and the front of the body, and the other I believe is a V-2223 Shutter Function Gauge for measuring/testing lenses.

I haven't really been able to find photos of these on line, so I am tossing it out to the group to see if you know.

Thanks

It would probably be easier if you could post some snaps of your new tools on this forum?

There are drawings, but not photographs, of the tools in the HB repair documentation.

I have some information about tools used to check and repair 500C and 500CM bodies.
Not sure whether this list is complete.
Please note Hasselblad Service centers only got a selection of tools used during manufacture.
Thanks to some fastidious technicians some of the tools used during manufacture became available to selected service centers.

Rig to check film plane of magazines used during production.
As far as I know only two service departments were supplied with this essential tool.

V system tools

V-2223 is the tool for checking the lens key angle and function on V System lenses. It essentially indicates the angle of the lens key (the slotted shaft that links the lens shutter mechanism to the similar keyway on the camera body).

V-2229 is the essential tool for checking V-System body functions: body length (distance between lens flange and film plane), parallelism between lens and film plane and mirror angle and other essential body measurements. There are several other necessary components to this tool - the microscope tube for mirror angle, a micrometer and a front body plate are shown. V-2229 is an impressive piece of Swedish steel!

Here they are!

Well the tools arrived and yes, thats exactly what they are - and were fully engraved with the part numbers and serial numbers. I received these, a box of other Hasselblad hand tools and a number of lens spanners in addition to a few boxes of Hasselblad Service and parts manuals. These tools are quite heavy!

Needless to say these are essential tools to service V series cameras.
Those who do not have access to factory tools can not service Hasselblad cameras to factory specifications.

Does anyone know the scarcity of these pieces?
The serials numbers of these tools are quite low leading me to think that the numbers of them are likely quite small...

100 pieces? 500? 1000?

Think of how many service centers of Hasselblad existed in the last century.
Ad a few for factory use and the number of these tools is likely to be 100-200.

Needless to say these are essential tools to service V series cameras.

The reverse is also true: those who lack the training and the experience cannot sensibly use these tools.

That said: scarce tools, take good care of them.
