Focusing doing my head in....

so whats THE best screen + prism combo for Hassy 500C/M in your opinions guys....I have the Sports Prism and its quite crap for focusing.....which is brighter and easier to focus.....

The prism with the largest magnification is the old NC2 made by Novoflex.

A focusing screen is largely a personal matter.
Some users like a minimum of obstruction and will do without splits, grids or micro prisms.
Others do like the split and grid from the 42170 Acute Matte or the later 42270 Acute Matte D.

I use the NC2 and is great.

also have both acute matte with and without split image.. for portraits prefer the split image, for moving subjects/candid i prefer the non-split...

I use the PM45 prism with the Acute-Matte D screen with split image and microprism focusing aid.

The prism is great for eyeglass users as it provides eye relief to see the whole screen with a 2.5x image size.
