H4d back on v-body?

Kai

Hi!
I've been looking for an adapter to put my h4d-31 back on a v-system body as I can't afford both hasselblad systems to be digital.

There is an adapter called "f/Sinar eMotion 75 Adapter". The seller claims this adapter should work for the h4d backs, but he has never tried.
Are there anybody who have any experience with this adapter (or any similar adapters)? Or does such an adapter really exist?

Any thoughts on this is appreciated!
Thanks

Hi Kai

As far as I'm aware the H backs cannot be adapted to fit on V system cameras.

The easiest solution in to use V lenses via an HC adapter on a H body.

HTH, S:

Hasselblad made a great effort these last 10 years to kill V line. So the Digital H back does not fit to other Hasselblad camera. Of course a digital back with plate adaptator for H or V may be a great deal for one who has V line and want to test H systeme or digital with a second hand H3D. Remember that the prize of a H kit is about the same as a H digital back only. And there a tones of Digital H kit second hand for sale and only few CFV back. What's funny is to know that a CFE lens succed to informe a H body about lens exif through the CF adaptator and at the same time a modified 203FE body lost the information of iso setting of the back and of course do not transmit the exif of the lens to the CFV ! …Yes FE and CFE lenses where allready digital 25 years ago !

It is indeed a pity that the V system has been so neglected, especially the 205TCC series etc.... these were true pinnacles of the HB system at that time.

Surely it most be possible to somehow make an adapter, and surely there must be a big market for it? Whoever nails it should be in for a nice profit which normally is the drive for such developments.
Thanks for posting in the thread, seems like you guys been on the lookout as well.
