Hasselblad 500 USED WITHOUT LENS

Hi everybody,

I would like to buy an Hasselblad 500 to try pinhole photography but I have a doubt.Pinhole is just a small hole in the center of a lens cap used as a lens .
Does the shutter work without the lens in the body ?
Is it possible to regulate the right exposure wwithout the lens ?

A 500 series uses lenses with leafshutters in the lenses.

Obviously there is the auxiliary shutter just in front of the film (in the body) but that is timing-wise open as long as you keep the release button pressed.

The body works fine without lens attached.
