Hasselblad for long exposures

I've been looking at getting a Hasselblad to create long exposure B&W landscape photography but have found most of the cameras are limited to 64 second exposures. The cameras which go for longer are out of my budget range.

If I purchase a H3DII-31 or H3D-39 how would they go for 30-60 second exposures stacked to create the effect of one longer one.

My goal is to print around 30x30" or maybe even a little bit larger.

Is anyone else using their Hassleblad for long exposures?

i wold like to know also seems like the h4d-60 is limited to 32 seconds max in any mode.

if you take the igital back off the camera can do 5 minutes so the limits come up hen the digital back is on the camera.

if any one has a work around i would like to know.

in B mode and in T mode the limit is 32 seconds also.

i do have the most recent firmware and just chech the other day if there is another version.

That's why I bought a H4D-40 - 256 seconds

The alternative would be to get a P45+ or P21+ back and use it on a H1/H2/H3D/H3DII body. They can go up to 1 hour exposure in the right temperature (17degC?) but will require the same amount of time to shoot a black slide - hence a 1 hour exposure will take 2 hours

If you can find a used P45+ you can get exposures up to 17 hours in the right temperature conditions. Otherwise an hour is easy.

You just need a H1, H2, or H4x.
