HC-3 prism with CFV39 back???

I currently use a HC-4/70 prism with my 501cm and CFV39 back. It works fine but it's large and extends well beyond the back. I guess the version I have is an older one and it's important to have my eye centered or the image blacks out. I should also add that I am left eye dominant.

Is the HC-3 prism suitable for use with digital backs and does it extend slightly beyond the back? Does it require ones eye to be centered perfectly like the HC-4/70?

My error!

I confused the 2 models of prisms. I'm using the HC-3/70 prism at the moment and want to know about using the HC-4 prism with the digital back.

Hello,
I use the HC-4 on my 500 c/m and the CFV-39. It is easy to work with, even in portrait orientation - it has just the right length for it without getting in trouble with my nose.
