As I scanned my way through almost 50 years of my 35mm and MF negatives a trend was obvious. The technical quality of the negatives as regards exposure and development has slowly improved, but the steadiness of my hands has declined. It has now reached the point that I will have to confine my future work to shooting from a tripod. I will miss the spontaneity of hand held shooting, but I've decided to treat myself by switching from my vintage RF gear to Hasselblad. I'm going to start by looking through the forum archives here for some general beginner's advice.

Welcome here Doug and do not be shy to ask for advice before you take the plunge and buy your Hasselblad.
BTW a little extra mass from a Hasselblad with a nice Carl Zeis lens may help you to use the camera handheld!

Just a quick follow-up. I bought a really nice 500C/M with 80 CF lens, WLF and A12 back. I'll develop the first roll of film this afternoon. All boring test stuff so nothing to post yet.

Congratulations Doug! I'm sure you're going to enjoy the Hasselblad.
