my name is Andreas. I started with digital photography some years ago. But this has grown to a status only to document my life and to evaluate quickly new ideas on compostion and exposing. For real photographing I use my old analog equipment with the better lenses and more degrees of freedom for creating photos. After a starting period with a Kodak Instamatic and a second period with a Minolta X700 I got an opportunity to buy a used Hasselblad which was my favourite the next years. Later I seized the chance to acquire a used M6 which I like for its compactness and the ability of handheld exposing up to 1/8 of a second.
Today, I am not as enthusiastic as before but I still use the Hasselblad for the big shots using c/n film and the Leica on my trips using diapositives. My favourite images are digitalized from e nearby dealer. Maybe in the next future I will upgrade to a filmscanner.
For this forum, I like to participate to the discussions on equipment, images and digitalization. I live near Stuttgart. Thus my subjects are the nature(Swabian Alb, Lake of Constanze) and the architecture of the medieval towns.
