I am going to buy this camera and i would like to know how many shots can i do in normal condition without seeing the lcd.

Thanks my friend.

Hi Carlos,

Well as long you shoot with tethered mode it depends how big your hard disk can received the file as example H4D-40MP is About 120 MB for each file.

As for CF Card you can shoot until the camera won't shoot anymore around 300-400 or you can check the battery level from the body ( press battery sign).

That depends first of all on the capacity and the quality of the battery, the shooting mode selected, the amount of time between sessions etc.
Too many variables to give an indication.

The battery level indicator is only a rough indication of the remaining power.

Really depends on how many features of the camera you use ... even eliminating use of the LCD, the H grip battery doesn't allow shooting all day. Some people claim big numbers ... but that hasn't been my experience ... and it can vary from 250 to 400 shots. It also depends if you leave the camera on for the whole duration of a shoot, or turn it off periodically.

Personally, I never leave for an assignment without at least 3 grip batteries ... one on camera, and two spares. I've rarely needed all three ... but better safe than sorry.

If you do long shoots in the studio, I highly recommend the AC adapter grip power source. This AC unit is also good to help avoid constant charging of a battery grip so you have one ready, which depletes the life of the battery type grip power source.

To get maximum life and performance, it is essential to follow Hasselblad's recommendations for conditioning the grip battery (which are available on the website ... or at least they used to be).
