Hello everyone, allow me to introduce myself.

User name is as you can see from the post. My real name is Andrew. I will respond to both in this forum but it is probably easier to refer to me as Traolcoladis.

I own a 500c model with standard lense and film magazine. I have kept it well looked after and I do love the fully manual features of the model.

I originally bought it for 1k about 15 to 17yrs ago. Have not had a lot of chances to use it.

I recently read online that there are digital magazines that you can purchase for this model.

The one that stood out on my searches is the "leaf"
Can any one kindly educate me on the particlars or other options?

Hello Andrew,

Welcome at hasselbladinfoforum.
It is possible to use a Leaf digiback with your 500C body.

The most comfortable way to go digital is to look for a Hasselblad CFV digital back.
First model CFV has 16 Mp, the later CFV has 39 Mp while the current CFV has 50 Mp.
Early model used digital backs demand around 2500 euro. Please note you also need a suitable PC/laptop to handle digital files from MF cameras.
Software to do post production comes from Leaf or Hasselblad.
