Phocus 2.5.2 on Windows7

Hello,

we have the following system:
- Windows7 - 64 bit
- Phocus 2.5.2
- Hasselblad H3DII-50

If we use the function "Use as capture destination" to
change the default folder for scans, Phocus crashes.
This happens on all Windows file systems (like
NTFS, FAT and FAT32).
We have tried to give "full rights" to "Everybody" on the
NTFS file system but this does not improve the situation.

If we use the same function of Phocus on a
- NSS volume (Open Enterprise Server 2 of Novell) or
- SAMBA (3.0.23d of a SLES11 Server)
then Phocus works correct.

Do you have any hints for me to solve my problem?
How can we use the function "Use as capture destination"
on Windows file systems without producing a crash of Phocus?

Thanks and best regards
Bernhard

Are you starting as 'Run as administrator' ?

It's different than giving full rights. Try to right click the shortcut or right click the phocus.exe directly and run as administrator. Maybe this will help?

... found a solution (thanks for your hint).

In the same dialog where I can check "Run as administrator" there is also the possibility to define a compatibility mode. Tried all and with mode
"Windows Server 2008 (SP1)" everything is ok.

Once again: "thanks for your hint"
