upper rear flap not fully open

I was checking my 500c body and realized that the upper rear flap is not opening all the way up. It closes properly though.

Is this a problem related to the spring or is it a different problem?

By the way, does anyone know about any cheap Hasselblad repair service in Europe? The ones i know are very expensive. I can buy a new body for the price of a single check performed at these services.

The 'flap' (auxiliary shutter) is sort-of crimped onto the axle that keeps it into place and opens it. They (the 'flaps') can sometimes misalign with respect to the axle orientation. Can be fixed, but is better left to someone who knows what he is doing.

I doubt there are any truly 'cheap' repair folks out there.

Thanks For your answer.
Ok, how much do you think is a sensible price to pay for such a repair?

Luisito.

Just to correct the adjustment of the flap generally take 30 minutes.

This problem may well be the first sign of more problems to come due to insufficient maintenance.
A full service could be the best option.

Hasselblad cameras are small mechanical wonders that should be respected and serviced every 5-10 years
depending on the amount of use.
Maintenace and repairs are best left to qualified technicians.
Their work does not come cheap.
