Who get the CFV-50 ?

As I imgined, the "rush" for a compact solution with the CFV-16 was real. And when the larger sensor CFV-39 arrived, the appeal was there too.
Wth the CFV-50, the sensor is not larger even wth a biger number of pixels.
Perhaps 39Mpix is big enought. I was happy to go from 16 to 39 as the sensor is wider, for a 50Mpx I prefer to wait.
Does anyone go from 39 to 50 CFV ?

I have absolutely no intentions to move from my CFV-39 to the CFV-50. This would be a waste of money. Only a full frame sensor would make me do this, but this is still quite a while away I think. The CFV-39 is just perfect for my purpose.

No attraction for me, I'm afraid. Hasselblad can't deliver a square solution yet, maybe never. Pity, but that's life.

The final stocks of the H3D-31 with 80mm lens are on sale for £7,500 incl tax. Can't understand why the 39/50 backs cost £11,000. I'd expect the market to be around the price of a 1Ds/D3 body, but that may not cover the build cost.

Yes I get it!

Hello, I receive my CFV-50 just today (from Paris). I buy this because it's so hard to develop a film 120 today (in Brussels). I can't say anything at this time....

Can any experts with the CFV help me with lens selections?

I have a 503CW and 80mm and I would like to purchase lenses to use with my new CFV-39 digital back.
I used Hasselblads in the 1970s and I had the 50mm T* Distagon and 150mm T* Sonnar. I need to purchase a wide angle and telephoto and I want to make sure I get the right ones to use with the back (CF or CFE or older types still OK).

I appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks very much,
Mike

As have the cfv-39, I think that the 80mm is just good enought.
Better lenses:
30mm (In fact an excellent lens in the center and phocus help to correct distorsion.
40mm (CF or CFE-IF better)
50mm FLE
60mm & 100mm (even very old ones)
180mm perhaps better than SA lens (?)
SA250mm and SA 350mm
And the mpossble to buy: FE 300/2.8

I was suprized in good with the 60-120mm
The lens I use most of time: FE 110mm/2.0 (excellent at 5.6) and FE 50mm /2.8
