Hello Wilko,

I did not notice you have this nice period barn behind you appartment.
Better show it to me next time I see you.

Looks like a good place to put some horses in.

I spotted cow dung in the field next to the shed, but no horse s*. If you feel like visiting it, it is located close (like a 15km walk or so) to York (UK).

Hi Wilko--

Really like the barn pix and a super dynamic range looking into the barn door. DR helped along no doubt by the 1+1 dilution of one of my favorites, D-76.

Where ever this barn may be the pictures look great and have the nicest tonality I have seen recently.
B/W deserves to be treated with respect with this kind of image quality.

I am happy to see more users are having fun doing B/W jobs. :daumenhoch_smilie:

I know the 50 is a favorite lens for Wilko.
The upgrade to 50 FLE did not harm either.
The FLE version gives even better quality, not only at close range, than earlier 50 mm lenses.

CF 50mm FLE and Orchid.

Here's my 50mm CF FLE lens shot of a Phaelanopsis orchid in my side yard.

Beautiful orchid, shot with an unusual lens for this purpose taking full advantage of the FLE 's improved qualities at close range.
Well done!
