X5 scanner gives grainy images

I've recently updated the software on our X5 scanner to FlexColor 4.8.8. Love the scanner for it's speed, and the 3F scanning (once I get past the inverting) seems to work better.

I do have one question - what setting to use in the Texture window?

I use USM -60, 1.0/0/10 and Flextouch 50.

I get images that emphasis the grain much-too-much.

I think it's some setting Ive got wrong or something I don't understand, but what is it.
