503CW Still Available?

Thanks John and others. I am looking closely at Dale Photographic, Ffordes and Pro Centre; I have also an offer of a mint used kit from a member of the forum. So I have a lot to think about... other than I want a 503CW! (though I also wish to add a 203FE).

I contacted the Pro Centre (following an email back from them) but was unable to return the call to Nicky West who kindly left me a message... but I will ring her early next week. Thanks Nicky for getting back to me and this always leaves a positive vibe with a potential customer. Not all suppliers are as professional.

as i said Nicky West is great and will go the extra mile.....tell her friend from Gibraltar says hi.....a colleague of mine (an absolute V system expert) were to-ing and fro-ing to get some H3D's but after a lot of testing we felt it wasn't for us....frustrating for her not making the sales but that's the way it is....i buy film from them mostly...they ahev great customer srvice.....

One of the reasons I gladly recommend Pro Centre.
Whether enquiring for a lens cap or an H3D camera you are treated as a valued customer.
Besides that who knows Hasselblad cameras better than the people who represent Hasselblad SE?

Hi Paul,

I agree - the Pro Centre have found me the -2 Dioptre correction lens for my PM5 Prism as they still sell it as a new item.

The customer service is excellent.

Regards

Kevin

Hello Kevin,

The -2 dioptre and others correction lenses were reintroduced after a long period of being not available.
Do not ask me why just enjoy the fact that you had a chance to find the correct dioptre for your needs.

Where i can find 503CW body only? or with Waist Level at least? i don't want kit with lens and film back as i have the film back already.

For starters, how about telling us in which country you reside? Or at least which continent.

Steve

Hey Steve, i didn't read this forum well enough but even i don't know where do you live or was born or reside.
I was born and i live in Ajman city, United Arab Emirates, Middle East, Asia.

Also i forgot to say i want new one, not used, even "like-new" i don't look for.

Update

Thought I would update you as to my current situation in obtaining a 503CW. I was looking to buy from new but decided to buy a used 503CW (but in mint/excellent condition)... as another (third) camera also caught my eye that I could not refuse to try and buy (and was succesfull... more of that below).

Jim kindly offered his kit but I had to turn this down as I was able to source the same millenium model in my home town belonging to a professional photographer who went over to digital shortly after purchasing the 503CW... the camera is like new but does have some light rubbing on the rear of the body where the back is fitted. I had contacted him some 12 months before having heard that he had a 'blad'... but he was not for selling but out of the blue contacted me only last week.

It comes with all papers and boxes, and also includes a a winder, remote, prism, spare back(never used), proshade and numerous other bits and pieces. I hope to collect it in the next week or so.

At the same time I see a 203FE on Ebay which I could not refuse especially at a "bargain" price (at least compared to my 205FCC).

So now I am the proud owner of my 205FCC and a 203FE (when it arrives) and a 503CW (which I am collecting next week)... so now I will have to take more photographs with all of them to justify their purchase(s). Oh I also have an Xpan II to which I just added a 90mm lense... but will have to save very hard for 30mm.

Never did I imagine that one day I would own a Hasselblad, now I have 4 and each of them are a piece of fantastic engineering, manufactured to an exacting standard and a thing of absolute beauty. But I do not need to tell you all this as you already know (and more). So please forgive the excitement of a beginner, new to MF and Hasselblads.

Thanks again to all who helped me with my original posting.

Paul
