Playing with my new Hasselblad/EOS Adapter on my new Sony Nex-3 body. By adding an EOS/NEX adapter, I can use the Hasselblad 30mm F3.5 Zeiss Distagon on the Nex-3.

Yes, it works. EEK.

How the fish-eye, becomes a tele lens !

30mm X 1.6 crop factor = 48mm focal length approximately. More like a normal focal length in this case. Sure looks like a telephoto lens, though. Surprisingly light and handholdable arrangement, but a bit bulky to carry around.

I will have to try it, when the light is right. It focuses through the whole range, BTW. Very close focusing.

Hasselblad Fisheye ISO 3200 F11.

A quick test shot with the Sony Nex-3 on the Hasselblad 30mm C Distagon. F11 aperture, ISO 3200 for 1/640th sec.

Digital 30mm Distagon Fisheye

You mention a Hasselblad / EOS adapter.

Is there an adaptor which allows Canon lenses to be used on a Hasselblad digital body?

I immagine the crop factor is going to be fairly extreme, but just curious?

Thanks.

No adapter

There is no adapter available to use non Hasselblad lenses with H series cameras.
Lenses for H series cameras should have a leaf shutter because H series bodies do not have a shutter.
Canon lenses do not have an image circle that is large enough to fill the sensors used in H series cameras.

The only adapter available for H series cameras is the Hasselblad one that allows use of V series lenses with a leaf shutter.
