I've a 501cm and 80mm & 180mm lenses. I've recently noticed some double exposures on slides.
After some investigation I notice that when I set the secondary shutter, the lens is not closing the shutter before the blinds open. I.e. if I look through the secondary shutter and lock up the mirror, I see daylight before the shutter closes. This has been exacerbated in the cold weather and does not happen indoors at room tempratures.
It is most frequent on the 180 lens, but I have noticed it a couple of times on the 80mm.
Has anyone expericended this before and what is the remedy, should the camera be serviced or the lenses?
Camera and lenses are circa 7 years old and have had light use mostly on holidays.
Thoughts appreciated, thanks.
