Resistance is futile...

I think the X2D II is a massive step forward for Hasselblad and its users. The improvement on the autofocus alone is worth it already. According to the reviews, you can finally use the X2DII for street photography. The X2DII seems to be finally a serious alternative for those people who where thinking about Fuji medium format formerly, because of the better AF.

i have used the x2d as a street photograper even using it wide open with the 55mm. it depends what you want ‘from’ the street, i assume.

I get that. This was my first foray into the world of HDR specific photography. For me, there’s a steep learning curve. There are so many variables: color spaces, screen specs, viewing device capabilities,, etc.
If you’re interested, check out Greg Benz’s YouTube site and website. It’s all a bit hard for me to get my head around, but I’m hoping to master it on a few weeks.

I shot HDR on a Sony A7M II I had. It is not on the III. In some situations it is great. Here is an example:
