Does anyone know what the status of the 4-60 is? It was to be available starting this past January I believe but still waiting, at least here in the Boston area.

It's in the hands of some Hasselblad people like David Grover right now. Can't be much longer. It is good they are taking their time and getting it right ... no one in MFD land can afford a mis-step in these economic times.

Still waiting and price went up

Still have not heard of HD4-60 delivery yet (Boston area) and upgrade price promised if we bought HD3-II 50 ($8000) was just changed to $11,000. Did anyone else get surprised by this? Sounds like bait and switch, or bait and increase the price.

Really close to "4.5x6" ! Only few millimeters !

As got the CFV-39, and CFV-50 is not wider, I will wait the CFV-60 to change.
Then it will take time to see a 53x53mm or 48x48mm sensor.

The question is "When ?" too !

I know it is the same, but i was thinking that they may do something with software, i thought maybe the first cameras have issues so they delayed the date of releasing and shipping this camera to fix some issues, but i don't know what kind of issues or what they really did to it to be different than first cameras released last months.

The way I think is work, if you order it first then you got it first(if you don't know anyone inside) other then that you get the same camera, no way the will give you a camera with problems in get stock with it. Firmware can be the different, its in the website to download if you got yours first, so will be the same as the ship it now.

I upgraded/updated the firmware few days ago, also when i got mine it was coming with Phocus 2.5.1 but i didn't take the CD because i just replaced the body and took only the body and the strap, and the rest is almost the same [cables, covers,..etc].
I hope i don't see any issues in the future, but the most important is to enjoy to shoot with it, i don't live in a place where i can do landscapes or even portraits at best, so i hope i can do something good and have nice works with it.

Congrats for you and all others who got it or will get it soon!!!

i am still waiting for mine...my money has been with the camera store since january...i did this just to lock it in..cause you know the hassy price changes...all over the place....but am still here shooting the h3d2 50...waiting waiting waiting...
