Hi to everyone...
I've bought a 500 c/m, now i'm searching a focus screen with microprism. I tought that the 42250 is a good focus screen, inexpensive and maybe appropriate to 500 c/m.
Now I've a question about to focus screen 42250.
I'm not sure that the 42250 focus screen have a microprism; because i've read in this forum some post discordant about 42250, so i'm confused
Maybe there are two version of 4250?
Searching into ebay, i see strange object; ex: packed with mark 42250 with screen standard, or with grid.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks.

My apologize for posting in another thread, but I saw that they were very old.

According to Richard Nordin's Hasselblad Compendium the 42250 is an Acute-Matte screen with vertical and horizontal grid lines and a 14mm central microprism. Part of the confusion may be due to Hasselblad using the term "grid" to mean a microprism in the earlier catalogs. To complicate things further, in the earlier catalogs the term "checked" was used to refer to the vertical and horizontal ruled lines called grid lines in the later catalogs.
