Hello. Except for holiday snaps with a Sony Cool Pix edited on iPhoto, I am a novice when it comes to digital photography.
I didn't say complete novice as I was into analogue photography (and dark room work) for many years some time back. My last analogue camera was a Hasselblad 502, so getting into digital I was drawn to Hasselblad. When the X2D 100C II came out last year, many traded in their (not so old) X2D 100C cameras allowing me to pick up a 9+ condition for £3000 off the price of a new model II. Yea, Lidar focusing would have been nice but I saved enough for a brand new f2.5 38mm prime lens. A decent pack, tripod, polarising filter, spare batt and charger, used flash and I'm on the road (slowly, white balance, camera computer-processed/pushed ISOs, restriction to Phocus if I want to keep Hasselblad HDR all makes the learning gradient a bit steep).
Anywho, hello everyone and please forgive me when I occasionally pop a seemingly stupid question onto the forum.
