Kodachrome: RIP

The last rol of Kodachrome was processed by the last lab still in operation on Dec 30, 2010.

It was shot by a very famous photographer, Steve McCurry, best known for his image "the girl from Afghanistan".

My last PKR was used in my new xpan II the december 25th 2010 and taken to Kodak Swiss office post box the 26th !

Some time I read that digtal kill Kodachrom, I think that one-houre labs explain costumers that 2 weeks needed to process a film was not acceptable.
Anyway there are a lot of very good E-6 films to feed cameras !
