Hello All
I picked up a very good condition used 503 c/m with chrome Planner T* 80/f2.8 a month ago and now I have the bug
Having used many medium format and 35mm film cameras before, as well as too many digital slrs, rangefinders and my current favourite micro-4/3rd cameras to list I always aspired to have a Hassy. Now I have one I have to admit that, apart from the weight, I'm very happy. There is something about the solidity and reliability of the body that feels very good in my hands. I'm lucky to have picked up a gem with a bright screen and taking photos, whether hand held or on tripod has been a joy.
Not sure of the Hassy will become my first MF camera, mainly because I also love the Mamiya 6 RF, especially with the 50mm lens, especially because of its convenience for travel photography - the reason I bought it - having already got a Mamiya 7.
But I have enjoyed it so much recently I bought some extra lenses - first the 120mm macro, which I received today, then the 60mm and 50mm which I await. So I guess I am going to use it a lot.
I hope this forum is a good place to exchange questions and experiences about using Hasselblads, and a place to exchange photos too.
Nick
