Other digital backs for V system e.g. Leaf Aptus ii 5

Are there users on this forum of any other digital backs for the Hassi.
I'm especially keen to learn how the Leaf Aptus ii 5 stacks up....

Hi,
I bought a leaf aptus 65 refurbished for my 503CW. It works fine and the synch cable is not a problem for me.
But I have bought a 203FE and I want to use a digital back with it. And the leaf dont work, so I'm looking for someone to change a cfv39 with my leaf aptus 65 + money!

I've been using a Phase One P25+ (9 micron fat pixel) back for some time and I really like it. It will rotate to vertical by taking the back off and physically rotating it. I see this as an advantage over the Hassey back. Maybe the Leaf has an internal rotating sensor?

The Capture One Pro software is superb. All of that has given new life to my V system and it makes my Canon 1dsMkII images look very inferior.

Thanks for the feedback gents.

The ability to rotate the P25+ is certainly a feature to consider, as the Hassi is a bit "vertical tilting" challenged.

Aptus 22

Anyone have any thoughts on the newer Aptus 22 (Mamiya DM22) back. Available with a V mount. Looks interesting although the longest exposure time is 32 sec. The price is right and the fat pixels interest me.

The Aptus ii 5 with 22 MP seems to work very well with cameras such as the ALPA (see work by Dan Lindenberg on the GETDpi Medium Format forum: http://forum.getdpi.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=10)

I would love to try it on a V system body as 22MP will more than meet my needs.

Exposures longer than 10 secs seem to lead to high noise levels though...!

I love long exposures so that would be a big issue for me. thanks for the reply
