Underwater Housing H1/H2

Hello.

I am needing to shoot a series of underwater images for a charity. I will not be completely underwater but half and half. The image is to look across the water seeing what is under the water line and above.

I need a dome so to capture the line of the water.

Does anyone know where I might be able to hire such an item, they do exist albeit very expensive.

London or France.

There is a beautifully made underwater housing for the H series camera.
It is made inn Hungary.

Wow That is Cool

Many years ago I had an Ikelite plexiglass case for my 500C/M. Took it as deep as 125' while doing scuba in the Bahamas. Used a large Honeywell 700 flash, also in an Ikelite case. Great outfit.

Things have progressed but you still need lots of light underwater.

My underwater housing came with two large torches and a custom build bracket to fix those to the UW housing.

The UW housing will be tested as soon as the water gets a decent temperature next year.

If I recall correctly , you promised to do the test in your bathroom .

Your precious SWA camera was used for the bathroom test.
Unfortunately one of the rubber seals in the UW housing was not up to the task.
After it was replaced by a Chinese replica seal the UW housing is perfectly water sealed.

Sorry about the SWA, s..t happens.

Over-under shot

I have and used Hasselblad UW housings for the V series but have not shot them over-under as you describe. However I have done so with housed 35mm form-factor housings. I used a very large diameter port called a superdome and a 10.5mm fisheye lens. A FE enables one to simultaneously focus above and under water, which will be difficult with a Hasselblad.
