Winter in Fall Creek Falls State Park

I went to Fall Creek Falls in Middle Tennessee with some b&w T Max 100 (really old film - been in my fridge for years). I was unable to capture any detail in the falls (that's the "white wall" you see in the background). Hopefully the rest of the image has enough interest to hold your attention. The water was really thunderous, and the most I've ever seen coming down the 256 ft falls. Even in real life, it was just a blob of white, no detail. I was perched on a large boulder shooting downward, and could hardly hear myself think for the roar of the water. What a rush, literally!

"enough interest..."

Michael --

There is more than enough interest in this image...great tonality throughout. Another image of which I would like to see a print. Thanks for posting.

Michael

Normally I am not a great fan of long exposure/blurry water or sea shots (because it has been done to death), but here you have used it to real artistic purpose. A very fine composition, technically perfect exposure, and great tonal range. Thanks for posting the picture.
