Great photos! My favorite was number 3. Wish I had an xPan too!!
Just one little quibble....I didn't know the "tundra" extended as far south as the Netherlands....even before taking the effects of global warming into account. Twenty years from now the question may be "Tundra? What tundra?".

Indeed, we typically are into lots of mud, not into snow. This winter is uncharacteristically cold and snowy. In january the coldest day was -15,8 ˚C, in december it was -18.4 ˚C on Deelen airforce base, close to where I live.So it can get quite chilly in the Netherlands.

By contrast, here in southcentral Alaska, we've been having a very pleasant and mild winter thus far.....only 1 week of sub-zero (F) temps. I guess the weather patterns are all messed up....the middle and eastern parts of the USA have been colder than normal, similar to you folks there in the Netherlands.
